The site analysis records site-specific conditions such as building structures and topology in order to understand their influence on network coverage. Site-specific measurements provide us with a realistic assessment of network coverage. These findings serve as the basis for targeted planning and optimization of the LoRaWAN infrastructure.
The data obtained is incorporated into a final report, which contains recommendations on the placement of gateways and how to proceed.

Thorough preparation
Comprehensive preparation includes an area and topology analysis in order to precisely match the measurements to the site-specific conditions.
Joint measurement & know-how transfer
During the on-site measurement, it is determined how the building and site structure should be assessed for site-specific indoor coverage.
Assessment of indoor LoRa coverage
An initial assessment of LoRa coverage is carried out, whereby the existing the existing antenna locations are also recorded.
Final report
The evaluation of the data and the current coverage provides concrete recommendations for the next steps.

Measurement locations & gateways
The map shows the positions of the LoRaWAN gateways and the various measuring points in different buildings.
These indoor measurements provide a detailed insight into the LoRaWAN coverage at different locations, whereby structural conditions influence the reception.
Measurement results
Table 1 next to the map shows the individual measuring points, which document the LoRaWAN reception.
In the “Evaluation” column, the reception is reception is evaluated - depending on the depending on the building and obstacles, poor, average or good reception.
These results provide an initial orientation for assessing the LoraWAN coverage.
